Hearthlight Fields Support

During ordinary play, the complete farm save stays locally on your device. There is no automatic cloud sync. Only when you deliberately create a save link does the app encrypt that save on your device with AES-GCM and upload ciphertext that the server cannot decrypt. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data may erase local saves. The optional anonymous online credential may survive reinstallation in Keychain, and uninstalling alone does not delete the online profile.

On the title screen, select a save slot and choose Share Save. Send the complete link through the system share sheet, then open it on the destination device and confirm the slot to import. Links expire by default after seven days and a save link expires no later than 24 hours after its first retrieval; you can revoke it sooner. Anyone with the complete link can import and read the save because its URL fragment contains the decryption key, so share it only with someone you trust. The server receives ciphertext but never the key.

Yes. The complete farming game, local saving, and progression work offline after installation, and no online profile is required. Creating or opening save, friend, or challenge links and using optional Friends & Races require a connection.

Create an anonymous profile and privately send a friend link, then invite that friend to a friendly 21-game-day earnings race. Challenge links create the same deterministic setup for each participant. The service keeps the internal friend code and challenge seed needed for these actions, while the app does not display or ask you to type them. This is a private honor race, not a public verified esports leaderboard; imported local saves can affect submitted results.

Use the system share sheet after creating a save, friend, challenge, or race link. Anyone with a complete save link can decrypt that save; anyone with another valid capability link can perform the action it represents. A race link may show the players’ chosen display names and race status, but the app does not display the internal seed or friend code. Share links only with people you trust. The app has no public search, chat, or social feed.

Do not use display names for insults, hateful or sexual content, harassment, or impersonation, and do not send spam invitations. Names are filtered. Use Block to stop interaction, Unblock to reverse a block, or Report and choose the closest fixed reason; reports contain no free-text message and reporting immediately blocks that profile. We aim to review open reports within 24 hours and may reset a name, restrict access, or remove a profile. For urgent or follow-up concerns, email liutiancheng@zealx.net.

Revoke an active link from its link panel, or open Friends & Races and choose Delete Online Profile before uninstalling. Profile deletion also removes every active share link created by that profile, plus its friend/block relationships, invitations, race records, checkpoints, and security credential from the active service. Restricted disaster-recovery backups expire within 30 days. A minimized report record may remain for up to 180 days for moderation, with deleted account identifiers detached. Your local farm saves remain on the device. Uninstalling alone does not request online-profile deletion; contact liutiancheng@zealx.net if you no longer have access.

Use the language selector on the title screen or in the in-game menu. The menu also lets you adjust movement speed and day length. On touch devices, move with the on-screen joystick and interact with the hand button.

Villagers follow daily schedules and may move between the farm, village, pond, meadow, mine, and their homes. Some areas and features unlock after repairing buildings, fixing the bridge, earning progress, or advancing the story.
